Obama introduced his long awaited jobs plan to congress. Either one of two things happened here. Assuming he has inherited Bush's mess as he claims, there were no jobs available when he took office. That would mean it has taken him nearly 3 years to do anything about it.
If that's not the case, then it means it has taken him 3 years to realize there is a jobs problem in the US. There's no in between, it's one or the other.
His jobs plan has little change in anything he's done so far. It keeps public employees on, extends unemployment benefits, and funds expensive construction projects which he proposes to pay for by raising taxes on individuals making more than $200,000 a year and raising taxes on oil and gas.
If Obama really wants to create jobs he needs to restore confidence by making the Bush tax cuts permanent and cut out some of the government regulations he has imposed. Of course, the biggest deal maker for job creators would be to drop Obamacare.

raising taxes on oil and gas.
Yup....I have always been sure he wants to destroy this nation......best way to do that right now is to raise the price of gas even higher. He's a a radical Muslim....pure and simple. Although a ignorant one.

I wonder if these construction jobs are "shovel ready" like the last time he pretended like he was saving the world.
Huck I agree with you 100%, higher gas prices would put the finishing blow on us right now.

Enough revenue from fuel tax' as it is to keep the shovel ready projects going. Just another of his gimmicks to throw out so next year he can run around claiming he tried to create jobs but the 'party of no' wouldn't allow him, once again it's not his fault but the evil republicans, who just took office in 2010!
Idiot doesn't have a record he can run on for re election, so has to create a new evil guy to campaign against.

The election in NY where a republican hadn't won a seat in the House since 1921 is pretty telling about how the country feels about Obama and the direction he's taking the country.

yea and the media is down playing it, saying it was just because of low voter turn out, lmao. yet when a democrat win's, oh it's the death of the tea party, tea party has killed the republican's chance's of ever being in power again, yada, yada. Still waiting for all these fools to figure out the tea party is THE AMERICAN PEOPLE! So everytime they take a swipe at the tea party, they taking shots at the actual voters who turn out to vote~
And the nevada election was a blow out, republican won by over 20 points! lol.
Nov. 2012 is going to be ugly!

You'd think the media would follow the side of the winner instead of playing stupid like they're doing. But, they are so concerned about pushing their liberal agenda. Thankfully, the American public is starting to see through them.

Whats sad is Republicans will take over, do nothing effective, then get blamed. Democrats will then take over, then get blamed for doing nothing. Republicans will then take control do nothing. You get the point.
Unless you have a short term memory problem you should remember why the democrats were in control until very recent elections. The republicans were in control before that and did nothing. Letting the other party fail has been a campaign strategy for a while now.

Sorry but I remember how the carter years were then how the reagan years were, even after he was out of office his policy's lead to the longest running economic boom this country has ever seen. Republicans gained control of congress in the 90's which kept Clinton from being another Obama, he had enough sense to go along with the flow so he could win re election, O doesn't have that much sense, he's happy being a one termer then hitting the lecture circuit where he can listen to himself talk, the ONLY thing the man actually gives a rip about!
Our economy usually goes up and down on it's on, never staying down very long, but this time you have a party actually holding it down against it's will! Get the idiots out of the way and you'll see a big difference!

I hope your right, my 401K hopes your right, and those who actually want a job hope your right. I found the below in an article about Raegan. When you reduce one type of tax and increase another your just playing a shell game and hoping the marks don't see which cup has the red ball under it.
All told, the tax increases Reagan approved ended up canceling out much of the reduction in tax revenue that resulted from his 1981 legislation.
Annual federal tax receipts during his presidency averaged 18.2% of GDP, a smidge below the average under President Carter -- and a smidge above the 40-year average today.

Yea Reagan's policy's had no effect on interest rates or anything else, im sure dummy's working 40 hour week jobs back then didn't notice any gains in money in their pockets when interest rates went from over 20 percent down to 10.
But Obama has all the answer's if he could just get all those evil republicans out of his way, makes me wonder what the heck he did his first two years in office when he had total control of everything?
