Saw on Chris Wallace a few weeks ago where a panel was discussing Newt's chances. They agreed the biggest concern would be Newt's dirty laundry.
I fail to see that would even be an issue when you consider Clinton's 12 year ongoing affair with Jennifer Flowers prior to running for president. When it was brought up, the left said his personal life has no impact on his ability to function as president. When he was caught with Monica in the White House, then lied under oath about it, yet was re-elected, apparently the American people had no problem with moral issues and agreed with the left that it had no bearing on his ability to act as president. Why then should Newt's conduct be any different?

Romney don't really wanna mess with that old man. He tried last night to rile him up.....I laughed at the way Newt shut him up. the affairs won't be the big deal with Newt. His envolvement with FM IMO is what the Dems will get after him for. And his being tossed out as speaker several years back. But I bet Newt can and will shut them all up.
Now if we can just get Fox news to tell Karl Rove to SHUT THE heck UP!!!!!!!

I quit watching fox new's cause i got tired of the same old lame wore out want to be's like Rove on there blabbering away like they have any idea what they're talking about. I still say Oriley is a closet liberal.
Anyone going to watch the state of the union tonight? I don't care what Obama has to say, I can't listen to a liar, gets on my nerves.

LOL...Jap I strted top watch it...but like you....my blood started to boil after one lie after another. I have sen folks lie before....but NONE can lie like that idiot.
I did a little lookin tonight about Newt loosing his speaker seat. he didn't even get kicked out!!!! The Rep/ lost the mid terms and he knew they would appoint a Dem so he resigned before they did. he had some slaps a few years earlier though. What they were I haven't found yet. Ethics violations I know but what I don't.
I have been a fox news watcher for a long time. but lately they are getting on my nerves really bad. Rove is nothing but a bias butt as far as I am comcerned. O'Riley, I have never figured out. he gets on my nerves by NEVER letting anyone answer his questions. Then that ann Coulter made herself look just like a left wing extremist last night cause she wants romney to win. OK I'm done.....LOL

I don't know, I'm getting nervous that the anointed one will win re-election because in these debates the candidates are self-destructing.
I agree that the democrats will attack Newt on ethics violations, his involvment with Fannie & Freddie.
Nitwit Nancy Pelosi claims if Newt gets the nomination that she'll expose that will make it impossible for him to win the presidency. But, she said she doubted the republicans are foolish enough to give him the nomination anyway. Just heard that on Rush.

She's back peddling on that now, lol. Don't worry about ripping on one another right now, in the end it's going to be ONE republican vs Obama! Then it's comparing notes between those two, not a field of other republicans.
Dems are scared to death of Newt cause they know in a debate he's going to make O look foolish! Rep higher up's want another John McCain cause he can win the independants! lol.
Like him or not I think the Newster will be the nominee now. But I think him or Romney either one can beat Obama! The country is just waiting right now for Nov. to get here so they can toss him out!

I agree with both of you guys. Though Newt wouldn't be my first choice, I still prefer him over Romney. Regardless of who it was, I would vote for that person to rid ourselves of this cancerous tumor we have for a president now.

Think women are like men right now, they just want the normal american life back! Think they've seen enough from the communist organizer and his crew to figure out that route isn't good for them or their family!
Gingrich is the smartest of the bunch but he's finished, wish he would just get out of the race and let Sanitarium and Mitten duke it out. Looks like the insider's once again have chosen our candidate though so may as well get ready for Romney to be the guy. Probably assuring O another term of destruction.

I don't know, getting a blow job right in the White House is pretty sacrilegious, if you ask me. Yet, women still voted to re-elect Wild Bill.
But, I agree, Newt is a lost cause, same as Ron Paul. Just hope Paul doesn't run as an independent. If he does, Obama will win because Paul will draw a lot of the independent's vote who would otherwise vote republican.
I even think Santorum should drop out; he's not going to beat Romney. In listening to both of them on Hannity, Ingram, and FOX NEWS, I think Romney is more polished than Santorum and has a better chance of winning. He also has stated some of his plan to turn things around. I haven't heard anything from Santorum.

I would venture to say that most marriages that go through that don't just end, they work it out. Yep, Newt and Paul are done. Santorum is getting close to done. Romney should be pretty polished when you have been coached by professionals and practiced for how long, years? What scares me is why would a millionaire even care about being president? But I guess it takes a millionaire to be president now. Also how he made his money, while legal may have not always been what I would prefer. So if Romney is sponsored by big business, made his money from big business, who will he be representing if elected? Attention middle class: we are screwed either way for another 4 years.

Maybe not. If we get conservatives elected that hold the house and get the majority in the senate things might get turned back around. At the least undo all this nitemarish crap the communist organizer has put in place! Only thing holding the economy down is this clown and his minion's controlling EVERYTHING!
Just getting him out of office will cause a surge of growth about over night!

Romney may be backed by big business, but who do you think backs Obama? Try George Soros, Obama's puppetmaster for starters. Obama didn't send millions to Brazil for oil exploration because he thought it was a good idea. He owed it for the money we know about that Soros poured into Obama's campaign.
Obama is reputed to have over a billion dollars for his re-election campaign. You don't really think he's getting that money from the middle class, do you?
The middle class is getting the shaft under Obama now, something he said wouldn't happen. Any kind of change is worth the gamble.

I don't think he'll have a billion. Sounds like donation's dried up and he's way down on what he thought he would take in, so much so he's done told congress democrats they're on their own, don't ask him for help! He's all about HIMSELF like he's always been!
Plus I think Romney understands how the country feels right now and will attempt to get things back on track, lord know's he can't do any worse than O has done!

Obama may not need a billion the way he's got the media stumping for him. Big article in the local paper today saying drilling more oil in the US won't do anything for rising gas prices. It's a global thing and neither party or the president can do anything about it.
Another article stated that new claims for unemployment benefits is the lowest its been in 4 years. The number of people looking for work continues to decline as more companies are hiring every month.
If his pathetic record can't get him re-elected, the media will do their dangest to make it happen.
