She wasn't interested in the job for one thing. She probably got tired of the media trying to find anything negative on her that they could, even though they never did after spending thousands trying.
I would rather have seen her running than Romney, but my real first choice was Huckabee. But, like Palin, he wasn't interested in the job either.
Even if you believe Obama inherited as bad an economy as he says, he has made it much worse. He has failed on so many of his promises mostly because I think he's incapable of working things out.
It takes a very successful business mind to fix the economy, which Obama doesn't possess, Romney does. Romney has demonstrated that with all the success he's had with Bain Capitol and the companies that were spawned off of it. Romney has the intelligence to turn the economy around, Obama doesn't.
The Keystone Pipeline that Obama turned down and the oil fields Obama shut down would have created close to 200,000 jobs according to reports I've heard. Not to mention it would reduce our dependence on foreign oil and lower our price at the pump. Right now gas here is $3.79 a gallon. Cost me almost a hundred bucks to fill my truck this morning. I can afford it, but feel sorry for the poor folks who can't.

I still like her and what she stands for. So did over 80% of the people living in AK. Apparently they felt she did something good while she was governor.
I think the reason McCain picked her was he thought he would be able to get all those upset women who were supporting Hillary over to his side if he chose a woman running mate. Since she had such high marks in AK, he thought she would be a good pick. But, Hillary's female followers were two things McCain never thought about, hard core democrats and pro-abortion. They were going to side with Obama even if they didn't like him. They liked Palin even less because she was a republican and pro-life.
My favorite vp pick for Romney was Marco Rubio, but Paul Ryan is OK too. Some felt Condi Rice would have been a good choice, but I think he was afraid to pick a woman after McCain's fiasco. The other thing about her is that she is pro-abortion and Romney isn't. I think people underestimate her intelligence and other than I disagree with her stance on abortion, she would be a good choice, but maybe not strategically. However, she has real class!

If she ruined the integrity of the republican party, it was nothing compared to what Obama did to the integrity of the democratic party. Another 4 years of Obama and it's doubtful America will ever be able to recover.

Wait one dog gone minute!!!!!!!!!! just how in the heck do you make such a statement? WHAT has SHE done to deserve such a statement? How many times did they TRY to make her look bad? Now how many times did they drop it because there was NO evidence?
Don't know who ya are...don't care...but before you make such a statement have something to back it up.
it was the Reoublicans that had gone array that hurt thye rep. party. those who dealt with the "progressives" those who are still in alighnment with that bunch of idiots. mccaan is one of them in fact. Palin has never been nor will she ever be one of them. She showed that by standing up to Mccaan while they were running mates.
The real reason the rep. party wouldn't back her anymore is simply because she would have taken half of them out just as she would have the Dems. and ind.'s. She don't give a dang what monicor you carry, you do something, anything, that aint right for this country, and she will take your butt down for it.

LOL...I'll take that bet. She did more for the people of the state than any other Gov. they have ever had. She "quit" to save the state money...because of those who would not stop thier attacks on her and her family.
She is stronger now by not being in office. Seems the gov. now is doing exactly what she would be doing if she had stayed too. ya wanna bet on his re-election?

They tried to destroy Sarah and she's ended up a celebrity over it all, good for her and her family.
With that said since she's gone down that road I doubt you will ever see her back in politic's. She NEVER was a politician to begin with, everyone forgets that. She was basically a soccer mom who got into politic's cause she didn't like what she saw.
And everyone wonders WHY all they have to pick from is a bunch of career politicians! When a common person like her gets involved look what happens. Then you all wonder why good decent normal people don't step up and run for office. lol
I just wish they would dig into Obama's background as deep as they did her's and report back what they found, imagine all his supporter's would have a whole different view of him if that happened!

There was a man on the radio that went to Columbia U. during the time Obama did. He said if Romney was smart he would submit his tax returns on the condition that Obama release his school records. They would show that Obama was heavily involved with a group of Marxists at Columbia and was a trouble maker on campus. He wrote essays touting the practical application of Marxism.

O isn't going to release ANY of his records, why should he? Isn't like the media is going to hound him about it like they do everyone else.

I agree, why should he release any of his records? The media ignores anything that might jeopardize his chances for re-election. Besides, it was the media that got him elected in the first place. It's not like them to ever admit they might have made a mistake.

If his records were above average and didn't have anything in them that would damage him you can bet the media would of already paraded them out for all to see!
