Bad press, including major mockery of the play by comedian Jon Stewart, led to President Obama abandoning his proposal to require veterans carry private health insurance to cover the estimated $540 billion annual cost to the federal government of treatment for injuries to military personnel received during their tours on active duty. The President admitted that he was puzzled by the magnitude of the opposition to his proposal.
"Look, it's an all volunteer force," Obama complained. "Nobody made these guys go to war. They had to have known and accepted the risks. Now they whine about bearing the costs of their choice? It doesn't compute." "I thought these were people who were proud to sacrifice for their country. "Obama continued: "I wasn't asking for blood, just money. With the country facing the worst financial crisis in its history, I'd have thought that the patriotic thing to do would be to try to help reduce the nation's deficit. I guess I underestimated the selfishness of some of my fellow Americans."

You wouldn't believe what all happened when he went to the base my daughter was stationed at "to play a few simple rounds of golf" I'll just say, they were VERY happy to see him gone.
Now, my son in law is one of those "injured" in a forieghn country. Does he care about this country? Your dam right he does, is he asking for any more then what is do him? Nope..not at all. He is out many different oppurtunities he would have had he not been injured. All he is asking is that his family will be cared for.

Ya, ok......Bush started the war, so what do they think of him? And yes, the miltary is all volunteer and there is a chance you may get injured or die , and you get paid for it, if you didn't do you think there would be many people joining? What about all those crappy military hospitals under the Bush administration, how does the military feel about them?

Bush started a war? lol. Last time I looked we got hit and lost 3000 of our people! Bin Laden started a war when Clinton was in office only Clinton like Earkle we now have didn't give a rip!
As for Iraq, congress voted to go to war, including all your beloved liberal democrats, but keep calling it Bush's war, hate for you to find out msnbc has been lieing to you all these years.
And those 'crappy' military hospitals are still open, just never hear about them now cause the current commander in cheif never visits them! He's too busy cracking jokes about 4 dead american's in Libya on comedy central to worry with stuff like that.

No it took the policy' of Bush to track down Bin Laden, had Obama been in office those policy's would of never been implemented and Bin Laden would of probably already carried out another 9/11 here on American soil!
Now you have a dead ambassador and an entire middle east going jihad all at one time while Iran builds a nuke for them to use where ever they want! Not to mention over 20,000 surface to air missles now in al quida's hands thanks to this limp wristed community agitator of ours.
And soon all of Iraq's WMD's that were shuttled out of the country into Syria will be in their hands as well. Obama is leaving this country more vulnerable than he found it and I imagine after he's out of office and we get hit again you'll blame that on the republican who inherit's this horrible mess.

No way, Bush was an idiot, and went after Saddam to make everybody feel better. Obama ended the war in Iraq therefore focusing on Afghanistan and Packistan......that's why Obama got Osama.

yea we couldn't wait to get out of Iraq with no treaty worth a flip with them, just up and left them to their own device's, why Iran is now flying over them to get weapon's into Syria!
And our troops in Afghan are being butchered by the people they train cause they all KNOW now we're leaving so they best make friends with the Taliban again cause once we leave they're taking right back over!
And SEAL team 6 got Bin Laden, probably would of got alot more of his buddy's too IF the president could keep his mouth shut for a month like a normal president does while they track down all the info they gathered up at Ladens house! But he could't wait to run out and take credit for something he had nothing to do with!

No way, Bush was an idiot, and went after Saddam to make everybody feel better. Obama ended the war in Iraq therefore focusing on Afghanistan and Packistan......that's why Obama got Osama. Actually, according to the CIA, it was as a result of information gathered as a result of waterboarding during the Bush Administration which Obama labeled as inhumane and has since abolished it's use. It seems the American people won't be fooled. The latest biased NBC, CBS, and ABC polls say the election is too close to call. However, Gallup and Rasmussen polls say Romney leads Obama by 7 percentage points.

This morning on the radio, CNN poll has Romney ahead by 1 percent. It must be his magic underwear.
You think those polls are a joke? You may be right. When Reagan ran against Carter, NBC, CBS, CNN, ABC, and most of the other liberal polls said the race was too close to call. FOX picked Reagan to win handily. Reagan took every state but 3.

I never heard one single time that Mccain was ever ahead.......Obama is beat ..simple as that......the ONLY way he could possibly win now is for the Chi town machine to do enough ilegal stuff for him. I won't put it past them either.
Hearing today there is fixin to be heads on the chopping block over the latest dibocle over the four getting killed in Libya. Some are even saying that Hillary may very well turn on some to keep from getting herself thrown under the bus. Back stabbing Libs at thier worst/best. LOL I love it.

Hillary's lawyered up already, she know's what is coming! Sad that a sitting president allowed our people to be slaughtered and did nothing! Went to bed and then got up and ran off to Vegas! What a leader!
And has since tried to cover it up, lie and buy time till his election is over! We deserve better than this.
