Lots of nice looking cats as well as the best kind of coyotes, dead ones ,lol. Like to see those deer killers on the ground like that or better yet on the stretchers . Way to go, keep up the good trapping.

Our coyotes are part wolf and tend to run a bit larger then the western coyotes. not unusual for a male to run between 45 and 80 lbs. The DNA that the wildlife authorities gathered showed that the North Eastern coyote has Red wolf DNA in it from cross breeding. Our brush wolf pelts have a heavier coarser hair than the western coyote and the colors can be any where from a white to a black but most tend to be grey with a lot of red with black tips on the back, so are not as valued as those silky grey ones in the more western provinces and states . The average is about $25.00 a pelt.
