The pic above is cropped. The guy I guided had a 8# female he was holding. Eaters were in the livewell. The smaller fish shown above was released since it was a female w/ eggs.
Most of the river eyes I get come from away from the dam. Either on sand transitions or flats below wingdams

I love catching and eating walleyes. I got 4lbs of fillets in the freezer from September.
We stock them at the lake, a few have been caught 10 pounds plus. we started stocking them 8 years ago at 8inches long.

We are finally gettting a nice walleye fishery on the Columbia. Some trophy size fish there. Hope to get up there this spring. Going to hire a guide because I have no idea where to go and what to do.
Walleye and Crappie are my favorite eating fresh water fish.

Guides are a good way to go on unfamilar water. Cuts the learning curve down quite a bit!

You know I wonuld even think of going to Colorado to try and fish thier lakes, those people have NO commend sence down there. We have some great walleye waters her in Wyoming though. One of the best lakes in the state is just 30 miles from my house. And its getting that time again!!!!!!!!
