some call them Ky. bass.....but there was the Ky. bass and those red eye bass in the cricks in TN.....the red eyes get alot larger than the Ky's. do. Either one, it is a large mouth bass. Ky. bass have a little trigger type deal on their tongues....red eyes don't have them.

hes got red eyes
bubby caugth a couple out of there last week..the iris 's of its eyes.....i guess thats what ya call em..are completely red

ok with read eyes it could be a goggle eye....very fun to catch.....some call them rock bass........pond perch have a really big mouth for their size......and are real slimy when ya catch them......hard to tell in the pics.....

around here we call em warmouths...they might not be much to some and these are pretty little, but boy theyre fun as heck to catch

OK a war mouth is a rock bass or a goggle eye........the yella fins threw me.......ours don't have that yella on them like those do.....fiesty for as little as they are.

Those are not called goggle eye around here we have both those kind of bream and goggle eye in this area they do however share the nickname of war mouth. We call them big mouth perch in my area. I suspect calling both of them warmouths has caused lots of confusion in the past.
