My son got one of the cheapy Scooby-Doo fishing poles for his b-day last year. So he is outside playing with it, and his sister is having a fit (because he won't share/she doesn't have one). Ya all know how that goes. So while getting groceries, we pick her up her own pole, only it is a Princess one. This is also her nickname, when she's not being a brat or twit. So last night we decide to go down the road to a couple of little gravel ponds here in town, and see if they can catch a fish or two. This is her first trip actually fishing. (She turns 2 at the end of June). After an hour or so of catching bluegills, we are getting ready to head home. Her last bite is a little bluegill, so she is reeling it in. We can see it out there about 20 feet or so, when all of a sudden the drag starts zinging, and her pole really bending. This Northern ended up chomping the bluegill and hanging on all the way in. WTA
