my pond is mostly stock with bluegill and channel catfish and a few perch

we hve a couple of ponds on some of the farms we rent, mostly bream and bass, a couple of them have some channel cats. Very few ponds around us have perch. the neighbor has one he stocked some trout in, don't know how that worked.

No ponds but a nice sized river in the back yard with Walleyes in it.

in our old pond theres a bunchhh of basss.big ones to and way to many blue gill lol
in our new pond we put in channels,bluegills, and bass so far but this september i can fish it!i'm trying to talk my mom and dad into putting crappie in it to.

On a farm by my house, theres bluegill, channel cats, red-eye(rock bass), and small mouthes in it.

When I was a kid, a guy near us built a small pond and stocked it with BIG bluegills. We asked him if he was gonna put something else in - but he didn't want anything screwing up the bluegill fishing. For that first summer, we had a ball catching them things. Then the nex summer, there was a whole lot of little ones....... the fishing in that place went down the drain quickly. He really needed some sort of predator fish in there . . . .
