along the bank on dry land take rocks and pile them up by stacking up but leave small (two) 4x4 holes around the bottom..spray a little rabbit urine in side and set 110 conibears or a trap at each end of hole put fresh bait in side apply mink lure and you are ready
you can do the same thing in shallow water but instead of rabbit urine use fish oil add bait and lure..good for mink and coon

Those rock cubbies are great and they can last for yrs if the water is pretty stable. I think building the rock cubbies is my favorite because you can make them anywhere and the mink use them frequently it also is great eye appeal to a mink. Most time i wont even bait them. The mink will investigate the hole almost every time.

an imitation crawdad in the back of the hole works wonders too!
