are you blind??i said RED, like as in red squirrel..red..is it diet that makes them that color or just genetics?
and im not talkin about the brownish..normal colored ones ::)i mean RED!!!!smartarse

i know what your talking about but ours have a ugly red belley that's why southern coyote are worth $2.50 i saw a picture of a red some where but it was the only one i have seen so i would think the are rarer than the black ones.

I've never seen one, but my grandpa used to cuss the blonde ones. Real ugly yellow tinge and thinking back, I think they were kind of red, too. I don't know if they were worthless, but he didn't bother putting them up.

Do you mean red like a fox is red, almost orange or even can be blonde? They are fairly common, but not desired in the fur trade. Caused by genetics.

i saw a picture of one some where that was red like a black one is black and would probably be a high dollar taxidermy yote.

I've only caught 2 red ones and 1 black phase yote in my years of trapping. I think they are like the different color phases of bears, there out there but not very common.
