How long does everyone leave a set before U pull. For us it all depends on where it is and how convenient it is to check. The close sets we may leave for three weeks, on a loop it's when the main target is caught.

earl i leave mine til i got to pick them up for good. i rarely move them once they are in the ground. now i may have a different situation that most. the land i am trapping is usually surrounded by 1000s of acres that ain't trapped so i have fresh critters moving thru constantly, especially the on the "high ways"

If my beaver sets don't connect after 2 -3 days, depending on how I feel about it, I pull it. Mink, coon and fox sets I leave alone. Weather is the big factor here, especially this year. I ended up pulling all my sets several times due to high water, even my dry land sets.
