Not sure what you are referring to. The beams are 5 fters and the bobcat stretchers were any where from 4'8" to 5 foot.

Craig, how have u found the best way to mount your beams is?

To be honest. I'm not sure. I think a beam mounted about belly button height. Somewhat straight out from the wall would be comfortable. I'm still lazy with mine. I wedge the bottom in a corner and the nose in my gut. Every year i cuss and complain i'm gonna do something because it kills my back. I have one special board i'm savin to make me a beam like the blue english one. I tried one once and it wasn't bad. I didn't care for the knife. I done just as good with a standard fleshing knife. Alot less holes too.

I have heard that, I still use the same ol cheap knife i been using for 12 years......works for me. I had noticed that one guy advertised his beams with a wall mount attachment, that hinged up we made a stand for ours that we can move around, it hits me right above the belt!

those are some pretty nice lookin beams. i've got kind of a smaller shed so they are usually in the way. i've got a cradle mounted on the side of my counter that i just slide my beam in and out of. fits snug and allows to get it out of the way. still sturdier than i could ever make those fold up wall mounts be for me.
as far as fleshing knives, i've got a "post" brand knife and i love that thing. high quality and same price as the necker.

You guys just gave me a heck of a idea. Mounting a Beam to folding legs like those on a Ironing Board. If I can still get one of these for coon. Please PM me. Whichever size you think would be best, it will mainly be for coon.

Attach a table leg and bracket to the underside of the beam and it makes a nice little portable stand.

Yes, i make coon stretchers. They come with belly wedges also. I just received a load of 5 quarter Ash lumber. I have a couple of oak beams left. Once they are gone my next FEW dozen will be made of Ash.
