how do you test your lures. i make a set and put wet dirt and then check for tracks and droppings every couple of days i respray with water to keep it moist.that way i know what animal left the tracks or droppings.i don't do dirt holes with bait because of non target catches.the sets might get worked but by what.i want to know if the target animal is working it.what would be bad if you did 50 sets and possums or skunks worked them and no fox then slim chance on fox but 50 tracks tells me three things my lures are good and that i have a high catch rate and it tells more about my locations is on key.

Yeah, the only way I can do skunk essence is after about 20 shots of tequila, goes down pretty easy then.
