could be Bill, feller named George Ryans, gave me recipe, George was an old man then, bout 80. Hes the one taught me beaver.Tough old bird, lost his right leg in Korea. Lived right on the White River back home,in a little shanty I guess ya would say. That place wasnt over 20x20. His fur shed was bigger...lol. George was a machinist by trade,if the place he was working at wouldnt let him take leave during trapping season,he would just quit and go work somewhere else after season. Ohh..back to tough he ran the river everyday that it was safe too..and some it wasnt, lol. He trapped up until his death 3 years ago,at the age of 86.
