here is a easy cheap way to make an anise - glycerine tincture in the spice section of your grocery store or spice isle at wal mart (cheapest place) ... find the cheap .88 cent plastic bottles of anise seed grind up or crush the seeds ... put into a glass jar and add up to a quart of glycerine ... mix the two good ... it will take a while for the two to blend and they will never completely do so ... a shake every now and then is advisable this can be used in many ways ... let your immagination run i'll try and post a recipe that i use it for/in here's a couple pics of what it looks like this stuff smells good enough to eat ;D

In some cases a couple months when anise is mixed with some ingredents like fish oil ....you just shake it up every once in a while and after a while it will bond...or thats what i found out when i used it with my saltwater mullet oil i make....i can not say about his

i know coon like it, But, what else is it good for? Skunks, muskrats, beavers and woodchucks. Woodchucks go ga-ga over it, just put it on a piece of bread in a cage trap.

Have you ever tried to substitute Propylene Glycol for the Glycerine? It works better for tincturing, and is a little cheaper than the Glycerine. Not quite as thick as the Glycerine.
