I have some beaver, castors and oil glands frozen. I wanted to make some bait for cats and k9s. Should I mix the castors and oil glands in with the meat?

castor yes...oil no....IMO
Beaver castor will draw about any critter to it.........used in many of the comm. baits for that reason. getting the right mixture is key IMO.

sam nothing like making a lure and seeing your first animal caught with it and then a couple 100 ....saves you some money and gives you some thing to do in the summer...just start out small and work your self up the ladder.

Cajun, I have made gland lure..That's about it tho. I know in making any lure, you need the right amounts or it can be ineffective..That's why I leave it up to the pros.. But if you keep it simple,it probably would be a blast to do !
