Does anybody have any tips on installing the extra spring on 110s? I have tried a couple and it is not an easy task, or at least it has not been for me.

I use 120's on fisher and mink. I have quite a few 110's that are in good shape plus 5 five old North Woods 110 style traps. I was looking to put new springs on the older traps and perhaps take a few of my 110s and convert those to 120s.
So far the experience could be compared to trying to give a weasel a suppository. Not pretty, not fun, but very lively. LOL Those replacement springs have a mind of their own, not to mention the spring eyes which seem to have a odd bend in them. Bought the replacement springs three or more years ago along with some safeties. I have decided to just buy new 120s or the new Northwoods 155 (120 but 5 x 5)
I recently bought one new Northwoods 155 and one of the CTM traps for comparison. I like them both. But sort of prefer the Northwoods. Thanks for looking.

I prefer using factory 120's the ones you add springs to never seem to close just right. IMO
