Just jumped into traditional archery last year. I absolutely love it! I have a Martin Serengheti recurve with a Selway slide-on quiver. Real nice rig, and I hope to take it to the Missouri Breaks next fall in chase of a monster Bull.

Archery season is my favorite time of year. Really look forward to it. Especially look forward to heading out to IL in the fall. Good luck to this year.

Our muzzeloader is in now, but i had still rather go in the woods with my bow, sitting up in the tree and listening to the sounds of the woods! ;D

the next time you talk to Earl ask him about Glen, Greg Petefish, Gary Alger and Vance Cave. We won first place at Front Royal 3 or 4 years in a row. The last year we finished 2nd to Earl, But earl slick legged us. I'll tell you how one day. My mom and dad both won a 1st place at the VBA outdoor in 1957. I won in '87 and my brother in '88. My brother also won the VAA state in door in about '82. I think it was about 1990 my mom won the seniors division at the Nationals held in Watkins Glen, NY., that was a 5 day shoot too! I've been around a arrow or two in my day ;D

dangif you ain't, the first time I saw earl was at Cu;peper one day when he was giving a demo. U're right he could shoot at his prime.....i used to dust him regularly ;D....my best chance was at the World IBO at peek and Peek ski resort in 1997, would have made the sunday top 10 except a leaf got under my release trigger and when i went to draw it back it went off and I got a zero. a five would have put me in on sunday
