I own several rifles in several calibers. Some scoped and some not. My Favorite Brush Gun is a model 94 trapper model 30-30. Since we have no closed season on hogs, It goes with me and my four wheeler any time I go to the hunting club. My favorite scoped rifle is a Ruger M77 mark2 Stainless chambered in 270 Win. with a 3x9x44 Simmons.

If your just talkin' rifles, mine would be my model 760 remington, 30-06. I'ts an easy gun to carry, not expensive, ammunition is cheap, and I bet I've killed 60 deer with it.

I have over 30 long guns so its hard to pick just 1. I would have to say my favorite would be my 300 winchester short mag. I built it myself, its a mauser action sporterized with a remington bull barrel and a boyd lamitnated thump hole stock, I put a winchester model 70 safety on it. I will post a picture of it today. The one that I use the most is my Winchester model 70 Pre 64 220 Swift, Just because about the only thing I hunt with a firle any more is predators. Heres the gun I built.

No it's not girly, I am not sure what kind of wood this blank was made of, it is a laminated boyd stock. Its a little heavy I wouldn't want to pack it on a sheep hunt!

Most laminated stock in the US are birch layered with epoxy under tons of pressure. Warmer that synthetic and more stable than walnut, alas.

Not a big game gun by any means...but it is a toss up between my 22-250 and my .22 hornet. I have others, of different cals. but I enjoy those two more than any of the rest.
