do they really jump in the water to try and escape? are the boats youre using the ones that look like theyre on big innertubes.?

Those big inner tubes do you mean pontoon boats? I have never deer hunted in a boat but more air boats are used then anything. In the dry months the grass is more like fields and in the rainy season these turn into grass lakes. I think we went way off topic too! LOL
