one box saltine crackers one envelope ranch dressing mix (not the dip mix) 1 1/2 cup good olive oil (extra virgin) one tablespoon cayenne pepper
Put the crackers into two gallon sized ziplock bags, with two "sleeves" of crackers in each one. In a small bowl, whisk together the oil, dry dressing mix, and pepper, making sure it's all incorporated well. Pour one half of the oil mixture in each bag, zip closed, and turn the bags several times to make sure all the crackers are well coated. Once this is done, spread the coated crackers out on cookie sheets, and allow to sit for 30 minutes or so. That's it! Quick and easy ;D

we call these firecrackers, and they are GOOD, especially with some pepper jack or extra sharp cheddar cheese
