take some plastic forks like you take camping and push a slice of apple on the fork part push the handle part into the creek bank just above and behind your favorite muskrat trap. the white plastic adds eye apeal to the apple. allways put the fork back in your packbasket when done.

not this year, only set about 5 sets expressly for rats all year.(trying to let the population build back). But, the eye appeal, and the ability to hold the lure makes sense to me.

how many rats did ya catch this year? i got one and it was a roadkill...there wasnt much sign here either so we left em alone till next season.Hopefully, their population will build back up some by November..

25 and most of them were in Belisle 330's.
