I have been caught out on more than one occasion I can assure ya. Everytime, during the colder months, my most prevelent thoughts were how to stay warm. For obvious reasons. I have looked around the web and found this link to better make aware those of us who will indeed be in cold weather situations this year. It don't have to be freezing cold for this to affect us.....as low/warm as 70 degrees F. is chilly enough in the right situations. We all need to know and recognize when we are gettin to cold. Believe me, from me teaching this to rescue departments, I have found many, most really, have no clue how close they are gettin to a very serious situation. Hypothermia is a quiet, sneaky killer. Symptons can range from shivering....to being very sleepy. The link explains it much more in depth and is IMO a pretty good thing to read. There are more links to the link and I encourage everyone to take the time to read them all. Here is the link. www.emedicinehealth.com/hypothermia/article_em.htm Guys this is something we really do deal with while trappin. and I can not tell ya how dangerous it really is. I studied this very in depth while I was an instructor, and I admit.....knowing of it and how it works.....scares the daylights out of me. Simply because I have been at some stages never realizing how close I was to dying. I bet each of you have been there too. Not meant to scare ya....but hopefully open your eyes in some way.

Excellent post, you are right on the money with this Huck. The worst part about Hypothermia is that we always think of it as something that happens to someone else!
