How long do you have to boil crick water to kill the bactreia so you can drink it and dont get diarrhea?
ive seen alot of dead deer in the cricks this year and used to you could just grab a drink anytime. id be scared too now.

The rule is five minutes at sea level and a additional minute for every 1000 feet above.
I've taken to iodine tablets with the neutralizer. Iodine is poisonous in long term use and the taste makes me want to puke.

Pour one cup of water in your pan, boil away one half of a cup, let it cool, put back on the fire and boil away another half a cup. Add one half cup whiskey. It might not be safe, but it will kill any remaining bacteria.
