The first pic is of a high bank that is undercut all the way to the corner of stream. There is alot of coon, and mink sign right across the rock crossing. The second pic shows where i have crossed the rock crossing and began setting blocking stone to force the animals thru this opening. And i place a northwoods 1.5 at the center of the blocking. The trap is submerged all except the pan. This will be their stepping stone so to speak. The 3rd pic shows were i have added even more rocks to the blocking. Further narrowing down the trail. The limb is added to the top of the blocking to force them down. The 4th pic shows where i have backed away to get a view of the set from a different angle. I hope this will ad another good set to your trapping line. This set up will catch mink and coon. Thanks for looking.

cmhanks You can use all the set to make you a booklet to pack with you. It does help seeing the areas of the set ups. And how they are done. I hope you do great this yr. And i hope these help.

Ive got a saying when it comes to trapping and most that know me will tell ya i say "you get out of it what you put in to it". Meaning i may put a little more work into my sets than most like, but i feel the better the illusion the greater the chance of catching what your after. Its not all set and run to me. I want them to be the most effective i can make them. The proof is in the pudding so to speak.
