Newt was kind enough to give me a private demo on Sunday morning. Here are a couple of pics from it. I took more but they didn't turn out. Newt uses 14 gauge wire for his support wire. He says that the key is to make sure that it is secured in two places. In this pic u will see that one end is stuck in the ground and then it is wrapped around the bush.....this gives it much more support than just wrapping around the tree. (He said u can even improvise by grabbing a couple of eeds and pulling them together and then wrapping it up. where he runs his snarecable through it is bent in a s configuration, this will hold the snare securely; but allows it to break away upon a catch, thus eliminating the possibility of kinking the snare at that point. The most amazing thing i gathered from this demo was the workability and strength of the 14 gauge wire when u just learn a few tricks. , , , Thanks Newt..... ;D

He was actually watching a Turtle cleaning demo. That's what I call a front row seat. I think Newt gave about 3 snaring demos himself.

About that Turtle cleaning demo. ------------When somebody has something to show me. I'm up front as close as I can be. I have dressed out tons of turtles, and I do mean tons. It dont matter what you think you know--------You can ALWAYS learn more.IF you keep your mind open The same went with Keith Gregersons demo. I was right behind him. Just out of his way.
